I’ve been looking for a recipe for homemade mouthwash for a while now – and today I found a great one from Andrea at FrugallySustainable.com who has been featured a number of times on this blog.
She has a wonderful recipe for a homemade antiseptic mouthwash containing essential oils including clove which I’ll share in a minute.
There is also cinnamon in the recipe which has antimicrobial properties and also functions as a natural preservative, while clove essential oil heals and prevents cavities, relieves the pain of a toothache and decreases oral infections due to its antiseptic properties.
