This is a great little homemade device apparently designed by school children in Taiwan for attracting and trapping mosquitoes – keeping them from attaching to your skin and sucking your blood!
Mosquitoes are attracted to carbon dioxide from a distance of up to 50m. Since we breathe out CO2, mosquitoes are attracted to humans, but this homemade device releases CO2 to entice and then trap the mosquitoes.
