When I polled the Health & Natural Living Facebook fans, lavender essential oil came in as the number one favorite essential oil by a long way with many referring to its beautiful fragrance or its calming properties as the reason why.

Today I want to share a recipe for making your own homemade lavender oil (not lavender essential oil) – but the oil still smells of lovely lavender and it still contains the calming and therapeutic properties – although perhaps not as concentrated.
