Gardening alone can make your hands dry and irritated, not to mention all the other summer activities that give hands a workout. This is Katie’s recipe for a lotion that repairs, protects, and soothes hands.
She selected a base of Shea Butter which reduces inflammation and contains a vitamin that helps to repair skin. She uses another ingredient that also protects the skin and reduces the oily feeling that homemade lotions sometimes have. Several oils and beeswax round out the recipe. Katie provides clear directions on how to make the lotion. It’s really a simple recipe if you follow the directions. If you don’t have time to make this wonderful lotion, you can buy it at Katie’s Etsy shop
