Cayenne pepper is one of the most effective natural pain relievers available to us. It works by blocking a neurotransmitter known as Substance P which is responsible for relaying information that results in what we know as pain.
Taken internally, cayenne is a great for us (if a little spicy!) but applied topically it is even better for pain relief.
