How To Make DIY Holiday Ice Lanterns

I saw a similar idea to these ice lanterns when watching a Jamie Oliver TV program. Jamie made frozen festive vodka bottles to keep vodka chilled and to provide a unique decoration and I’ve always wanted to try it.

But then yesterday I saw a tutorial for DIY holiday ice lanterns.

It uses the same method, but instead of a bottle of vodka, you put a candle in the middle and it makes a wonderful glowing lantern. Of course you’ll need to use a battery operated candle otherwise your ice lantern won’t last very long! You can get battery operated tea lights from here on Amazon.
