Vanilla is one of my favorite Autumnal and Winter flavors and today I want to share a fantastic recipe for a simple vanilla extract.
Making your own vanilla extract is great for a number of reasons…
1. Store bought vanilla extracts contain corn syrup and other harmful additives.
2. Good vanilla extracts without the corn syrup can be expensive.
3. You can customize your extract with different varieties of vanilla – such as Tahitian vs Bourbon.
